True Crime New York City PC DVD

True Crime PC Dvd: In this game you play as Marcus reed an ex gangster turned street cop. Through your training in becoming a cop you had a mentor that helped you to finaly become a succesfull street cop. Unfortunately though your mentor gets killed in a explosion which turns out not to be any kind of accident it was planned. So you set out to find and take vengence on the people that killed your friend and mentor. The graphics in this game are quite reasonable for when it was made, though I think there could be a few improvements made. The downsides to this game is that there are alot of glitches including groups of people in the street spontaneously spourning themselves write infront of you and cars suddenly vanishing infront of your eyes. I can also say that the AI of the charachters in this game is a little on the poor side they mainly just shout abuse at you and give you the V sign, they could have added alot more to that than just abuse. On the upside though it does have free roam and you can do such things as use the variouse public transport services that are available like the underground rail network, taxi cabs and aquire variuose cars to help you get around the large area of new york. Also there are many locations you can go into like shops, bars, diners and you can also buy hotdogs and soda from variuos hotdog venders that are on the streets. I have also heard that people have been comparing this game with Grand Theft Auto but I find that in the way of gameplay and graphics Grand Theft Auto is a much better game to buy than this one by far. All in all True Crime NYC might not be a bad game to try aslong as you don't mind the glitches in the game and at times the controls that can be a little difficult to use. Its worth a try atleast just to go free roaming around the city.
